Is Instagram Down?

EVERYONE PANIC!

If this is happening to you, then there’s a good chance that Instagram may actually be down.

As soon as you keep seeing screens like these…

Then it could be a good sign that there’s something wrong with the Instagram app.

It’s not like we haven’t seen this before though. Remember March 14th 2019?

Almost 24 hours of technical issues with all of Facebook’s apps including Messenger, Whatsapp, and Instagram.

Whenever something like this happens, we’re reminded of how much we rely on the platforms.

If you’re using an app like Instagram to drive traffic to your website – remember that you don’t ‘own’ that traffic (or your followers).

If you don’t have safeguard measures in place (like an email list), what would it mean for your business or personal brand if your account got shut down or if Instagram was down for months?!

Make sure you’re always trying to drive your followers on Instagram to where YOU want them to go.

Is it to your website so you can retarget them later with ads?

Is it to download something for free so they join your email list?

Are you encouraging them to visit your brick and mortar store?

Even if you’re just trying to get your audience to subscribe to your Youtube channel, it’s always important to think about how you can protect yourself from outages!
